Today (right now, actually) is the funeral of my co-worker and friend, Anna Salhani.

I will never forget hearing those words from the other end of the telephone: “they’re dead.” I never thought that two little non-tangible words could literally knock the wind out of me. Please remember Mercy and Anna’s families during this unimaginable time.
